Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 3, 2026

Welcome to Icon Karaoke Lounge. These Terms & Conditions govern all reservations, private events, use of our facilities, and use of our website. By making a reservation, purchasing services, or entering our venue, you agree to the following terms.

 

Reservations

Reservations are accepted online, by phone, or in person and are confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

All reservations are subject to availability.

 

Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all karaoke rooms and private events.

Full payment is due one (1) week prior to the scheduled event date. Any reservation with an unpaid balance after the due date may be canceled at the discretion of Icon Karaoke Lounge.

Reservations made within seven (7) days of the event date require payment in full at the time of booking.

 

Cancellations & Booking Credits

If you need to cancel your reservation, notice must be provided at least one (1) week before your scheduled event date, prior to the final payment due date.

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

As a courtesy, guests who cancel within the required notice period will receive a one-time booking credit for the amount paid. This credit:

  • Must be used within 30 days of the original reservation date.

  • Is subject to venue availability.

  • May only be used once.

  • Is non-transferable.

  • Has no cash value.

Reservations canceled less than one week before the event are not eligible for a booking credit.

 

Arrival Time

Your reservation begins at the scheduled start time.

Late arrivals do not extend your reservation. Additional time may be purchased if available.

Reservations that are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice may be considered a no-show.

 

Guest Capacity

Every room and private event space has a maximum occupancy.

Guests may not invite or admit additional individuals beyond the posted capacity of their reserved space.

No refunds or credits will be issued for fewer guests than originally reserved.

 

Food & Beverages

Outside food and beverages are welcome.

For safety reasons, the following are not permitted inside the venue:

  • Chafing dishes with open-flame burners

  • Sterno fuel cans

  • Hot plates

  • Portable grills

  • Any open-flame cooking or heating equipment

Guests are responsible for removing any food, beverages, decorations, gifts, and personal belongings before leaving the venue.

Decorations

Decorations are welcome as long as they do not damage the venue.

The following are prohibited unless approved by management:

  • Nails or screws

  • Permanent adhesives

  • Glitter or confetti

  • Open flames

  • Smoke machines

  • Pyrotechnics

Additional cleaning or repair fees may be assessed if damage occurs.

 

Venue Conduct

Guests are expected to treat our staff, equipment, and venue with respect.

Icon Karaoke Lounge reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, illegal, or unsafe. No refunds or credits will be provided if a guest is removed for violating these Terms & Conditions.

 

Damage to Property

The individual making the reservation is financially responsible for any damage caused by members of their party.

Repair or replacement costs for damaged furniture, karaoke equipment, décor, games, electronics, or other venue property may be charged to the reservation holder.

 

Photography, Videography & Social Media

Icon Karaoke Lounge is an interactive entertainment venue where photographs and videos are regularly captured.

By entering the venue, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, videos, livestreams, and other recordings taken by Icon Karaoke Lounge or its representatives may include your image, likeness, voice, and participation.

You grant Icon Karaoke Lounge permission to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, and display any photographs, videos, or other content captured within the venue for promotional and marketing purposes without additional notice or compensation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Social media platforms

  • Website galleries

  • Digital advertising

  • Print advertising

  • Promotional campaigns

  • Marketing materials

Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional content should notify a staff member before entering the venue. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate these requests, we cannot guarantee that guests will not appear incidentally in photographs or videos taken during normal business operations or private events.

Commercial photography or videography by guests requires prior written approval from Icon Karaoke Lounge.

 

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for all personal belongings brought into the venue.

Icon Karaoke Lounge is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

 

Website Use

All content found on the Icon Karaoke Lounge website, including logos, graphics, text, photographs, videos, branding, and designs, is the property of Icon Karaoke Lounge and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

 

Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

Limitation of Liability

Participation in karaoke, games, dancing, and other activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Icon Karaoke Lounge, its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, or expense arising from the use of our facilities, website, or services, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

 

Changes to These Terms

Icon Karaoke Lounge reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

 

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
